In this piece, you will see my different souls me; my past, present, and future. I am very proud of my roots and therefore I incorporated the Aztec face on one side of the art piece with the headpiece and feathers. I used gold to emphasize the importance it has on me and use the color that was used in those ancient times as well. Both faces have their eyes close to signify the death, burring the negativity around me as well as recognizing the deaths of my ancestors, and rebirth, continuing to grow as an individual in whatever I do. The hair is incorporated to the piece as well to attribute my zodiac sign, Capricorn, which is part water, part land. The wavy hair plays the role of water and the triangular steps and pyramid as the land. As for my future, the olive branch around the face with the eyelashes and lipstick signifies the knowledge and wisdom I am receiving throughout my life as well as the one I am gaining as I work my way to further my education.
